How will your families learn about the Affordable Care Act and the Health Insurance Marketplace? 

Today, every family must make health care decisions. The issues surrounding Health Insurance are complex and the information is complicated. Despite these challenges - and others such as language barriers - there is a penalty for failing to respond to efforts to become insured. 

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) provides the families you serve unprecedented access to health care and benefits. According to a large-scale study published in 2011 by the National Bureau of Economic Research, “When poor people are given medical insurance, they not only find regular doctors and see doctors more often but they also feel better, are less depressed and are better able to maintain financial stability”. 

The next Affordable Care Act Open Enrollment Period begins November 15th and extends through February 15th. Families who have recently moved may be eligible for a Special Enrollment Period now. Advocate Health, LLC is committed to providing education, support, and information in “parent-friendly” terms.
