This training session will cover a complete overview of AARP Medicare Supplement including eligibility, excluded benefits and plan availability.  This event will cover:

  • The AARP Medicare Supplement benefits and rates
  • Why you should offer AARP Medicare Supplement to your clients 
  • The electronic enrollment methods for AARP Medicare Supplement plans.  Technical applications will be discussed in detail.


Agent Toolkit Training
This training session is designed to help agents understand how to access and use this important resource.  This event will cover:

  • How to access the Agent Toolkit from the portal.
  • An in-depth look at the Agent Toolkit and how to create world class marketing pieces to build your business.
  • Maximizing your efficiency with the toolkit by targeting key areas that work directly to increase your sales.
 

Benefits Meeting

This Benefits Meeting will provide an overview of the many selling opportunities in UnitedHealthcare's product portfolio, including key features and nuances for the various plan types, and sales approaches to position the right plan for each consumer's unique needs.  This event will cover:
  • Overview of UnitedHealthcare portfolio of products available in the local market
  • UnitedHealthcare Compliance Overview
  • Review of UnitedHealthcare Producers website
  • Election Periods and the Agent Toolkit
 

Coffee & Chat

Come by for one Coffee and let's Chat! It's Special Election Period (SEP) and we want to make sure that you have everything that you need.  We will be at various locations to discuss UnitedHealthcare's portfolio of products and address any questions that you may have one-on-one.   Together, let's get inspired for the upcoming selling season. 
  • What is a Coffee & Chat? Coffee and Chats (also known as One-on-Ones) are informal events that provides you an opportunity to meet one-on-one with your local market Agent Manager. All agents contracted with UnitedHealthcare are welcome to attend.
  • Why attend a Coffee & Chat? Coffee and Chats allow you to have more than the "typical" training experience because you receive focused attention.  You will be able to get answers to specific questions and discuss the topics that are relevant to you.
  • Why register? Because you and your time are important to us.  Registering lets us know what your needs are and allows us to do our part to prepare and make the most of our time together.


Dual SNP Meeting

There are more opportunities for year-round selling with UnitedHealthcare than ever before and the Dual SNP (Special Needs Plans) Training is designed to help you take advantage of those opportunities.  In this session, we will review Dual SNP, LIS and discuss the SNP benefits and competitive advantages available in the market.

The goal for this session is to familiarize agents with the benefits and plan rules so that they can assist consumers by considering their unique needs and enrolling them in appropriate plans.  Our mission is to provide innovative health and well-being solutions that help Medicare consumers achieve healthier and more secure lives.  This event will cover:

Low Income Subsidy (LIS)

This training will help agents understand LIS, its benefits and how it works to assist consumers with certain financial needs. This event will cover:
  • A brief overview of Low Income Subsidy (LIS).  
  • Educates agents on LIS qualifications, assistance available for consumers, identify financial challenges and guiding the consumer through the LIS application.

 

 

Marketing Workshop

The Marketing Workshop is designed to help agents learn how to build community marketing plans as well as relationships.  This event will cover:
  • How to develop a Community Based Marketing Plan
  • Top venues to market Medicare Advantage (MA) products
  • How to market Medicare Advantage (MA) compliantly
  • How to use the UnitedHealthcare Agent Toolkit and create Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) approved marketing material
  • The difference between Sales Events and Educational Events 



New Agent Workshop

Are you new to Medicare?  Are you new to UnitedHealthcare?  Then this is the course for you.
The New Agent Workshop is designed to help newly contracted agents learn how Medicare works and the options that are available to prospects.  The workshop will also introduce agents on they can partner with UnitedHealthcare to offer products to their consumers that will offer them a healthier future.  This event will cover:

Presentation Skills

The Presentation Skills Workshop reinforces critical sales skills and teaches agents to prepare and deliver effective group sales presentations.  This event will help agents learn to:
  • Prepare effectively for presentations by analyzing the audience, creating a benefit-oriented agenda, and crafting a customized message to weave throughout the presentation.
  • Deliver structured, organized, persuasive presentations.
  • Demonstrate presence and connect with the audience on an emotional level.
  • Implement techniques you have learned from practicing presentations and receiving targeted feedback and coaching from other participants.
